Born in Fullerton, California on April 16th, 1962

Education:

Earned my B.S. degree in business with an emphasis in Marketing and Finance from the University of Southern California in 1984:

I attended USC from 1980 through 1985 on a full paid scholarship. I competed for the Lady Trojan’s Tennis Team from 1980 through 1984. I served as assistant coach for the team and directed fundraising in 1985, as I continued my business education in USC’s MBA program. I was a player on USC’s National Championship tennis team in 1983. I was an assistant coach/fundraising director on USC’s 1985 National Championship tennis team. Upon graduation I was honored as a “Scholar-Athlete” by USC’s athletic department.

 

Work Experience:

1985 – 1988 “Sports Information Director” at Fullerton College:

I was placed in charge of assimilating and distributing all press and public sports information for the men’s and women’s athletic department, including, but not limited to press relations and fundraising. I was the first woman ever hired into this position. I raised more money for Fullerton College’s athletic department than any former employee in my position.

1989 – Earned my California Real Estate Salesperson License:

In the summer of 1989, I began working for the largest independently owned real estate firm in San Diego County, “The Jelley Company”. I was recognized as one of their “Top Producers” in 1990 and consistently year-after-year, thereafter. I remained with this firm through the summer of 1997.

1997 – Earned my California Real Estate Broker’s License and Joined Dyson & Dyson Real Estate Associates:

I began providing my real estate clients mortgage loan services in addition to Real Estate Sales Consulting. I was recruited by Dyson & Dyson Real Estate Associates, the largest independently owned real estate firm in the San Diego, Orange and Desert Counties. In addition to being recruited for my “high production” real estate sales numbers and top “Customer Service Reputation”, I was also recruited to develop and manage Dyson & Dyson’s agent training, mortgage department.

2002 – 2009 Broker Associate with Prudential California Realty:

Dyson & Dyson sold to Coldwell Banker at the onset of 2002.  At this time, I was pursued by Prudential California Realty to join its Del Mar and Rancho Santa Fe offices by office manager and corporate recruiter Dixie Courtney.  I was specifically pursued to represent corporate relocation buyers and sellers, and placed on Prudential’s “Luxury Home Seller’s” referral agent list.  I remained with Prudential California Realty through the summer of 2009.  During this time I serviced my client’s mortgage needs through Atvantage Mortgage, Inc. in Carlsbad.

2009 – 2013 Broker Associate with American Eagle Real Estate, Inc.:

I was recruited by American Eagle Real Estate, Inc., the most successful bank foreclosure listing firm in San Diego County, to serve its high volume of incoming buyer calls from its foreclosure and short-sale inventory. I was recognized as American Eagle’s top real estate sales consultant each of my five associated years.

2014 – Established “Kathleen Baker Properties:

Established “Kathleen Baker Properties” owned and operated with “customer satisfaction” as the Number One priority. With 25 consecutive years posting top sales production numbers, hundreds of satisfied clients and no history of law suit challenges, this level of real estate consulting experience places me among “the best” choices to become “your real estate consultant of choice for life”.
